Most asked questions before injectable treatments
We have a lot of clients who come in to the clinic that are new to the cosmetic treatments we offer here. And the one thing that everyone has lots to ask are the questions before injectable treatments. We understand, which is why we have always offered free consultations. Like anything new it can be a bit daunting, but we ensure we explain everything in great detail so that they are totally in-the-know and at ease with how we operate at Austin Brewer. Most of all we make sure we manage our client’s expectations so they get exactly the result they are after!
You may have seen my recent blog about the Cosmetic Cowboys, and raising awareness of people like this is something we are passionate about. As the only skin clinic in Bournemouth on the Treatments You Can Trust Register you know you are in safe hands here!
So, I thought it would be useful for some our readers – and particularly our new clients, for me to answer the most asked questions before injectable treatments that often come our way.
How much does my skin consultation cost?
Your first skin consultation is free of charge. This is because we like to asses our clients case by case to discuss exactly what cosmetic treatment is right for you. We won’t offer a treatment to a potential client if we feel it is not suitable.
Do I need a skin consultation before going ahead with my treatment?
Understandably we require a face to face skin consultation before treatment to assess the right approach for you. Anything that involves your face is a big decision and not something we take lightly, so having a thorough consultation to discuss every aspect of the treatment is a given at our clinic. As the only TYCT registered skin clinic in Bournemouth, getting a professional experience is closer to home than you may think.
Am I having ‘surgery’?
All of our procedures are non-surgical. This means they are not classed as surgery, and more often than not you can get on with your day straight after your cosmetic treatment. Unlike an operation you don’t need weeks to recover which is a bonus!
What are the laws on non surgical treatments?
You can read more about the guidelines on the NHS website here.
How do I know you are qualified?
Austin Brewer is a registered nurse with the NMC, the only aesthetic practitioner in Dorset registered with the Independent Healthcare Advisory Service and is fully insured with Medical providers Hamilton Fraser.
I hope this has given you some answers you might be looking for as a new client, but if there is anything else then please give Austin a call on 07823 883888 and he will be happy to answer any of your questions about our treatments, including Botox in Bournemouth or book you in for a free skin consultation.
