Botox® works by relaxing the muscles, which takes time. Seeing the results of your Botox® injections depends significantly on the individual. So how long does Botox® last? For some, they will start to notice changes within 1-2 days after being injected. For others, it would be between 5-7 days or even up to two weeks after the treatment. The wrinkle treatment’s full effect can definitely be seen by the time two weeks have passed, when you’ll see your fine lines and wrinkles appear significantly reduced.
Does Botox® last permanently?
Unfortunately there is no fixed term of how long Botox® lasts. It normally lasts approximately 3 months however like any personal cosmetic treatment the timeline can vary. For facially applied Botox®, the results can last anything from between 2-4 months. Botox® injections for hyperhidrosis procedures, such as excessive sweating treatments, can last approximately 9 months.
Botox® is not a permanent solution and does require regular treatment if you really want to see the back of those wrinkles for good. It is advised to book your next appointment and re-inject before the effects totally wear off, as this will increase the time the effects of Botox® will last and ensure a smaller time frame to regain your desired look.
