What is ThermaVein Treatment and how does it work?
ThermaVein is a procedure designed to eradicate red veins, thread veins, red spots, spider veins and rosacea. The principle is based on the action of a very high frequency wave producing a thermal pulse, which is continued along the length of the vein until it is permanently closed. The blood that was in the vein is naturally absorbed into the body and the vein ceases to exist. The results of ThermaVein compared to lasers and IPL’s are far superior with no known side effects, no risk of burns, no likelihood of recurrence and treatment can be carried out on any skin type.

Will the ThermaVein treatment hurt?
ThermaVein treatments cause minimal discomfort, depending on which area is being treated, as some areas may be more sensitive. Any discomfort ceases as soon as the ThermaVein treatment ends. It is one of the safest rosacea, thread vein and red vein removal treatments available.
How long will the ThermaVein treatment take to work?
The whole ThermaVein treatment takes minutes and the vein will disappear immediately during treatment. Results are visibly instant but there may be some redness which varies from person-to-person. You may notice a few days after the thread vein removal that some of the larger vessels may still appear visible which is completely normal. The process is continuous and the vessels will continue to be broken down by the body and fade away. Some dryness may occur at the treatment area for a few days, which is also completely normal.
How long does the ThermaVein treatment last?
Results are permanent, although more than one rosacea, thread vein and red vein treatment may be required to achieve optimum results, which need to be 28 days apart.
Where can the ThermaVein treatment be applied?
Anywhere where the veins are found can be treated, including the body and face.
